The ongoing work of Saint Joseph Cathedral Music's choirs and organists simply would not be possible without the support of the Cathedral parish and its visitors. Successfully maintaining the artistic heritage of the Catholic church depends on the support of those that experience that heritage in action.

Recently, the St. Joseph Cathedral Choir established the Vision, Mission, and Values statements below. These statements create focus and direction for the choir as we continue to grow.

Provide and enriched worship experience and enhance the life
of the arts and ecumenical communities through the performance
of sacred choral music in its intended setting.

In 2008, the choir is seeking to increase parish involvement and to increase its financial self-sufficiency.

Whether it is through prayer, talent, time, money or any combination of these, the St. Joseph Cathedral Choir deeply appreciates everyone currently involved with the choir and we invite you to come closer. Likewise if you are not currently involved with the St. Joseph Cathedral Choir, we invite you to join us.

If you are interested in becoming involved, or more involved, with the Cathedral Music program, there are at least three ways to do so. We invite you to consider the following:

Audition – The Cathedral Choir is made up of approximately 35 professional and volunteer singers. For more information about singing with the choir please contact Paul Thornock at 614-241-2526 if you are interested in auditioning.

Volunteer – The Cathedral Music program is in need of volunteers willing to help implement our Vision, Mission, and Values. Fore more information about volunteering please contact us if you are willing to volunteer.

Donate – We are seeking to establish and maintain financial self-sufficiency and ensure our ongoing ability to enhance the liturgical richness at St. Joseph Cathedral. Monetary donations of any amount are welcome, be it in support of our concert series or to benefit the ongoing cost of the everyday work of the program.
